Channary slapped Levana to break her concentration on her glamour so she may see her sister's disfigurement and insult her by calling her her "ugly duckling". The day of the funeral Channary forced Levana to give a speech at their parent's funeral, displaying little interest and are about her parent's deaths and becoming queen much to Levana's annoyance. Due to her parents uncaring and neglectful nature, Channary didn't mourn her parent's deaths. In 108 T.E., Channary's parents, Marrok and Jannali Blackburn, were killed by a shell who infiltrated the royal palace. When Channary was thirteen and Levana was six Channary wanted Levana to put her hand into a fire but Levana refused so Channary forced Levana to throw herself into the flames which severely burned and scarred Levana, forcing her to wear a glamour to look beautiful and hide her disfigurement.
